I've been through the Iron Hand site and didn't see anything,,, it's possible I missed it.

Maybe to clarify what I'm looking for, on the turtlebacks there is a small metal working vise when you rotate the vise. The inserts for the metal vise are what I would like to replace as mine are worn out. You can see them in these pics (not mine).

Try http://www.supertool.com/ordering.htm If Patrick doesn't have them maybe he can give you the name of the man in S.E. Pa. that use to have parts for Emmert vises.

They don't look like much trouble to just make yourself.

I have no trouble making the inserts themselves but they have a nested diamond pattern on the faces that I can't machine myself. At that point (and it looks like it will be) I'll have a machine shop make me a couple pairs.

I figured with as many of these vises out there and the softness of the stock jaws that someone would be producing them. I haven't owned a Yost in many years but I'd be willing to bet that they take the same inserts.
