This one is 14 foot but I now need to build a 30 foot one for some big dinner parties.

Center of the legs.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT4.jpg
Here's the 9" X 3-1/2" leg stretcher.

http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT10.jpg
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT13.jpg
Here show the mortice glued in.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT12.jpg
Here's the feet.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT11.jpg
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT6.jpg
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT17.jpg
And if all goes well it's plumb straight across on both sides.
I should have taken a pic of it when it was clamped to the deck of my table saw with 1-1/2" stand off blocks to clear the clamps..
I'll get one up on the next go around.
As soon as I drill out the mortise with a spade bit and finish up with th big router and a 2" flush cutter I'll be ready to glue the third side on using a indexing block jammed in the mortise hole.

Here's how I glue and clamp useing the deck of the table saw to laminate both pieces flat.
This is the second leg. I will add the third layer as soo as it's dry and routed flush with the smaller one.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT18.jpg
Here is the leg base flush routed and waiting for the other side to be glue on.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT19.jpg
Here is the tenon after boreing most of the meat out and then flush routed.
The corners of the hole will now be squared out with a large corner chisel.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT20.jpg
The sander was not big enough to do this so I extended it.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT21.jpg
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT22.jpg
Starting to take shape.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT23.jpg
The tenons came out OK.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT24.jpg
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT25.jpg
I'm going to run this router bit profile on both edges with the point of the bit routing into the joints to conceal them.
After that I'll run a large chamfer on it.
I'll do this all with the had held router though. ;)

Here's Cher's table at her home in Malibu. Setting place for 12. Probably Limoges.
I'm really liking the light fixtures. Met a fella at Cowboy Christmas here in Vegas that has a CNC plasma machine that be more than happy to blast those out for me.
That's a lot of chain.

OK! That does it. I'm reglazing our chairs to match the table and reupholstering them too. http://store.schindlersfabrics.com/upfavedaparo3.html After Thanksgiving. ;)

Here's one of the bottom legs of the pedestal drying.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT31.jpg
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT32.jpg
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT33.jpg
Here's the top rail that supports the table top.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT36.jpg
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT37.jpg
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT38.jpg
It's still in the rough stage but this it how it looks sans the top rail has not been band sawed and sanded to shape.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT39.jpg
So here's the pair of legs.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT40.jpg
Here is one of the legs after it had been taken apart and profile sanded and them dry fit back together. The front and back will be sanded after the routing has been done.

Here's the leg and foot with the triple bead detail run on it and awaiting a 45 degree chamfer on the corners.
I strategically line up the router bit so that hide the glue joint being it's at the bottom of one of the bead.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT47.jpghttp://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT48.jpghttp://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT49.jpg
Here it is now run with the chamfer and beads ready for sanding and assembly.

http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT50-1.jpg
All sanded and waiting to be draw bored.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT47-1.jpg
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT48-1.jpg

http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT59.jpg
Looks like enough room for the chairs.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT61.jpg
Thanks for the kind words guys. 8-)
Here shows the pegs inserted and sanded flush after draw boring. The holes in the tenon are actually a heavy 1/16th off center so when the pegs go in they bend some holding everything tight.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT62.jpg
The chamfer bit arrived yesterday! :holysheep
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT63.jpg

http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT65.jpg
Or when I get this table done. Little chilly right now out in the shop.
So the mortise holes for the wedges are cut and the wedges have been made.
Just need a whole lot of sanding now.

As usual it just starts out as a heap of boards pictured here.

Wifey really likes these two chairs.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/B52PWowCGkKGrHqQOKnEEy0TyCBeMBMvL2LqCYg_12.jpg

http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT65-1.jpg
If all goes well everything comes out square.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT66-1.jpg
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT67-1.jpg
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT68-1.jpg
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT69-2.jpg
Here's Barbie putting the screws to the last board glued on for a final length of 14 feet long by 48 inches wide.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT70-1.jpg
So now we have this 400 lb board........
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT71-1.jpg
This pic shows how the ends are attached via a huge mortise and tenon joints.
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT73-1.jpg
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/LEVERACTIONSHOOTERS/TT/TT74.jpg
Here shows the ends that were draw bored and pinned in place. The dowels actually make a bend when hammered in because of the holes are drilled off axis from each other on the bottom side of the table top.
