I found this saw for 350$ seems cool, I have been looking for a old powermatic 20 in and they are pretty expensive, would this be a decent upgrade from my jet 14in?

Any one have or used one of these?

They are reasonably decent bandsaws. They probably aren't quite as stout as a Powermatic or Delta 20 inch, but they are American made, if that is important, by Parks in Ohio. They are certainly better made than the smaller 12 inch saws that Sears was selling at the time. Btw, if it is in good shape, that is a steal of a price; those things sold for well over a grand when Sears last carried them about 20 or so years ago. I'd snap it up if it were me - even though I don't need another 18 inch bandsaw.

You should visit here: http://www.owwm.org/viewforum.php?f=1 and do a forum search for either a Parks or Craftsman 18 inch bandsaw. Discussion of Asian machinery like Jet is not allowed there, but there are plenty of threads dealing with the Craftsman. Most seem to think it superior to any 14 inch saw - even an old Delta.

I emailed him and asked him to hold it for me, he is a couple hours away, and I am going close to his house to pickup some other tools, i see what he says

He said he will hold it, I keep annoying my wife telling her I can't wait to get all my tools lol
