I just won an auction for a delta DL 40, I had wanted a g0766 but this came up and after fees it was around 700$ should be everything I need. how did I do

That lathe has nice configuration features with the outboard extension at the headstock. Seems a bit underpowered at 1.25 hp for a 16" swing lathe, especially when roughing out bowls, but motors can always be upgraded provided you can get the electronics to match up. With that outboard stand in the pic, it seems like a versatile setup.
