My old new stock paperback version came today. It cost less than $20 from Empire Books (Amazon seller).
It is in excellent condition.

I'm looking forward to looking at it later today. Who knows, it might inspire a project.

I saw a Maloof rocking chair and two Nakashima pieces at a museum in San Diego a few years back.

I sat in Maloof's rocker and Nakashima's Conoid Lounge Chair. I knew I was not supposed to do it, but no one was watching, so I assumed it was OK.

If you were in the museum at Balboa Park, they actually have signs encouraging you to sit on them.

Actually, the book is Derek E. Ostergard's book about George Nakashima. There is a lot to look at. My Mid Century friends will get a kick out of the book.

I was in New Hope one time, but didn't know hat George was there. I did see a lot of nice pieces in the shops there, but I'm not aware any of them were Nakashima's.
