After seeing Steve's wonderful work, and Mr. Newman's offerings, I thought what the heck:
A 28" monster with a 2-1/2" tapered double iron. The beech bodied plane is oriented perfectly, the strike button, as seen, appears to be a dense tropical species. Nice lamb's tongues adorn the corners, and it hasn't been abused. It has lots of patina and the expected age checks, but is solid as can be.
It is a New York Tool Works, Auburn NY body, and the blade is an Auburn Tool Works blade.
One of these days I will get around to cleaning it up and making it sing.
