Figured I bring out BOTH of mine....321349
Ohio Tool Co. No.81. Single iron
321350
New York Tool Works, with a double thistle brand iron. Fire wood rear handle, too...

Both are 22" long, and the irons are about 2-3/8" wide. Yard sale finds last year...

Steven, did you get a new camera? These images are a lot sharper than usual.

If my habit included wood bodied planes, there wouldn't be any room in my shop for stuff other than tools.

Nope, just a better tripod.

Have these two, a pair of Jack planes, and a coffin smoother....
There is also the Stanley clan.....No. 122, No.26, No. 28, No.29, and the No. 31 Jointer. lurking somewhere is a Sargent/Fulton 3416 jack.

When the iron ones get me worn down, I can switch to these lighter ones..

If sales like that happened at yards near me, I'd mow them for a month.

Awesome finds.

Gave the Ohio Tool Works No. 81 a test drive, had to adjust where it was cutting..

Yes, it is just pine, but has a few BIG knots going across the plank.
321451
Tends to send curl up and around my wrist. Cleaned the test track with a smaller plane..
321452
I think it has a Thistle Brand iron
321453
While I had the plank clamped up, brought out a Stanley No.29 to try out..

Seems it sends shavings all over the place. Mortise chisel is by Butcher....
