There were a lot of non farm tractor vendors. Spent most of the day yesterday, and walked almost two miles looking at all the goodies for sale. A place where a 20oz bottle of Mountain Dew went for ...$2:eek:
Stopped by one vendor's tent..

Not too sure, but I think he had more than I do.. Walked across the grass walkway to another vendor..

Look very carefully, there is a Stanley #45 laying there, price was ...$160 for just what is there. That KK Hatchet? $55,, but wait, he had more

That #48 with a missing cutter? $110, that barely there 45? $120.....I think this fellow will have to pack them back up later..

That little Cordovan Block plane? $25FIRM. Well, walked out of there, and walked around a bit. Found a push drill, and a fancy screwdriver. Found a few chisels. Fellow had a "$1" Table. Dug awhile to find the handles for the chisels.
Same tent that had the $1 table, had a pair of Stanley #7. $45 for the smooth sole, $35 for the "c" model....pass. Too much clearcoat on them. Some of his chisels as well. At another spot, a large plastic tub on the ground had a dozen handsaws in it. I didn't need any. But, there was a couple sharpening stones. Part of the "deal" was the two stones and a plane...$10...ok.
Was walking back to the truck I hitched a ride in, spotted something RED in the grass, looking a bit neglected...

Craftsman 7" wide vise. I might find a spot for it. Cost was..$10.
Loaded the treasures back up. Got home, and tried to clean these things up..few of which wasn't too bad.
A look at what came home?
320961
Stanley Handyman #1204, the older style one.
320962
The shorter chisels. Not sure 1-1/2",Stanley 3/4", Wards 1/4" , Fulton 1/2", with a metal cap.
320963
The LONG chisels. GLOBE11/16", and a no-name 1/4" Mortise chisel. $7 for these chisels, including handles for three of them.
Looks like I'll have to add more in a reply to this post. There is a Millers Falls No. 188A with all 8 tips....$5. There was a fancy screwdriver thingy, also $3. A Pair of Stones. And a pair of very tired feet!Even with that expensive soda..I stayed under my $40 limit...barely. Now just have to figure out just what all these things are. ;)
