Hi all
(apologies if I shouldn't make two separate posts, I just didn't want to confuse the two posts as one is software related, and this is hardware related)

I have the optional air compressor that can be added to the Spirit GX 100W lasers and was hoping I could also add my workshop air compressor that I use on my Mercury, to the Spirit to help create a deeper smoother cut with increased air assist.

What sort of adapter (double adapter?) should I use and where would I obtain it? I also need the orange tubing and connections to make this work.

Ideally, I would like an on/off valve to cut the airflow from the external/additional air compressor for when it isn't needed.

Hi Clare;
Not sure what kind of connectors you currently have but search for "air hose push fitting"-check this link: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=AIR+HOSE+COUPLING&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.XAIR+HOSE+ push+fitting.TRS1&_nkw=AIR+HOSE+push+fitting&_sacat=0

Perfect! Thanks George

I am just not sure what thickness the airtube is on my spirit. Excuse the ignorance, do I measure the diameter?

I have Nitto (I think that's what they're called) on my air compressor

Clare;
Most plastic air hoses for lasers are 6mm which is about 1/4"-outside diameter.
