I should probably add "finally" finished but I still have to fill it up with tools. It all started with a beautiful 15" wide plank of Santos Mahogany and the desire to have it around for many years. What a chunk! Now I get to look at it every time I go into my shop :).

The table is about 44" x 27". drawers are 1/2" 9 ply maple with 1/2" bottoms at 4", 5", 6" and 7" in height. The widest ones are about 23 3/4" and the narrow ones are about 11 1/4".

I was having handle issues, not really wanting them to interfer with the wood grain pattern so I ended up with the edge detail, which is a pull of sorts, by using a 1/2" radius router bit and a little hand work.

Cheers,

KP

Kent,
That cabinet looks great. Looks more like fine furniture than a shop cabinet. I'm sure you will enjoy using it. :) :) :)

VERY nice, Kent! The figure in that mahogany is outstanding and yes, I think you'll really enjoy it for many, many years.

Looks great. We have Santos Mahogany on our entry/dining room floor and everyone coments on it (positivly). I have a bit of it that I'm going to use for a globe stand for our house one of these days. You really made that pop. What was your finish?

Kent,

That is a fantastic looking project. That TS is going to be more than useful in more ways than one.

Great job!
