Replacing Paslode battery

My old but lightly used Paslode 16 ga nailer needs a new battery. Looks like there are OEM replacements of course, but also lots of replacements ranging from 1500 mAh to 3500 mAh that are pretty reasonable. Any experience or opinions with non OEM and different types? Dave

I suspect one of the battery rebuilding companies could rebuild the battery. I had my Dewalt 14 V drill batteries rebuilt by MTO Battery and the drill has more power than it has ever had. I had two batteries rebuilt for the cost of one new one. They used the original cases.
