Hey guys, I am looking for opinions on trim options. I just finished this bathroom and need some thought at what might look better. Vertically I will just use the 3/4 pine cove but for the cieling, floor, and around the doorway. I thought about just running 2 inch strips of pine common board, chamfered, abd finished with Shellac. The same as the knotty pine planks. I had bought some the colonial stype trim for the doorway which is not really pictured below but I dont think it looks as good.

option 1 = 2 inch strips

option 2 Colonial type from big box store

option 3 your opinion of maybe something else.

Thanks in advance

our whole cabin is knotty pine and we used 3/4X3/4 pine just ripped from the same boards for the corners. 4 inch for the baseboard and door /window trim and a couple other sizes where appropriate. you have some angles that you may want to simply get creative with.
Shellac in my opinion is not the best choice for a moist environment .
nice job...Dan
