I just purchased this lathe which I found on craigslist. It has a very distinct logo, which looks like a stylized A and maybe an H together? It appears to have a serial number of 00031 on the logo plate. I cannot figure out the manufacturer of this lathe. I've tried googling all sorts of things with no luck.

It's a very sturdy lathe, made out of steel box sections. It swings approximately 20" and 26" with the gap removed. It has a 1.5 hp Leeson motor which I don't think is original. The headstock has Fafnir VCJ 1 1/4" bearings. One of the tool rests has a sticker with the same logo as the headstock but no other text.

If anyone has seen one of these and knows what it is I'd appreciate any information you might have.

Pretty interesting. Is it back heavy with the motor hanging out?

I found a metal lathe under "A H Technical Works".

Got to agree that's pretty interesting and looks well made. I'd love to see photos with the gap removed as I have a Robust Sweet 16 and it has a similar gap. I guess we know whoever made it made at least 31 of them.
