Just acquired a used Ridgid BS14002 bandsaw. Did some upgrades and then I noticed that the lower wheel wobbles quite a bit. Bearing shaft is tight, its the wheel. A replacement is about $60. Ouch!! Only paid $100 for the whole saw.
It's usable as is, but the vibration gets annoying. I put on a nice sharp blade and it cuts very straight.
Any ideas on how to true the wheel? It is side to side wobble, and fairly significant. I think it needs to be bent back into true somehow.
Any chance I could get it replaced with the lifetime Ridgid warranty?
