Repair stainless refrigerator door?

I have a stainless steel refrigerator which was recently scratched/dented in the door. Does anyone have any experience in repairing the dent/scratch? It looks like replacement doors are available, but I may as well try to make the repair if it's possible.

In my opinion, anything you do to repair the dent on that SS door will most likely make it look worse.
