And still have it be mobile to go to BBQs with other turners.
Up jumped the workmate saying hey mate what about me :D I'm just setting over here collecting dust with my other 2 mates. :eek:
Well here is how it turned out. I'll be getting a plug strip & making some kind of turning tool holder.
When not in use the Jet mini lathe will be clamped to the Delta lathe bed.

Congrats on your win, Bart! Don't you find the Workmate to be a little low and prone to vibration? You'll enjoy that little Mini. I love mine.

Actually the tool rest is right at 42 1/2" exactly my elbow height & very comfortable :D . I have found that if I do a real good job rounding up the bowl blank on the band-saw I have very little vibration certainly not enough to make the lathe & workmate try :eek: to move around.

That's certainly good to know! I have a Workmate lounging somewhere around here. When I finally get a bigger lathe, I know what I can do with the Mini!
