Our grand daughter is turning 1 tomorrow. It's been quite a year.:p She's learned to stand up and go up the stairs all in a week. Now I've gotta convience the son and DIL they need a gate at the top and bottom of the stairs:eek:

Congrats! She sure is cute. You are a lucky man. I found out recently that I will become a grampa in March. Can't wait!

Bill congrats right back at ya, is your first?? She's our first grand child and we couldn't be happier.

Yes, our first. My oldest son and his wife gave us the good news last week that they are expecting in March. Everyone tells me it will be wonderful. I'm planning to build a crib or bassinette (sp?) for our guest room and maybe for their home if they want one. Know of any good plans?

Not sure of "good" plans. But keep in mind that some of the designs you see on the net aren't baby safe. Just pretty.

And yes It is wonderful, marvelous and anything you can come up with in a thesarus:)
