Compressor oil weight?

Just got in a Harbor Freight air compressor model 92504. Book calls for 30 weight non-detergent oil. This seems to exclude any automotive oil. I bought some Cambell Hausfeld air compressor oil, but it says its ISO 100. How does iso compare to weight? Can this oil be used?

Sammy, I went to Wal-Mart and found 30w non-detergent oil. That is what I use in mine and I bought it from Harbor Freight. I called them and they told me that oil would be fine. Not sure on the ISO100.

I don't know about what you have, but I would think that any good auto parts store would have 30 weight non-detergent oil.

I finally got hold of HF tech, the ISO 100 is fine!
