My wife found the Stanley No. 45 molding plane at a garage sale and brought it home to me.
Then she told me that I should go back the next morning because the fellow had more boxes of tools that he had not unpacked yet.

Below is the total score from the garage sale with a total of $46.00 spent.
All but one of the planes are Stanley's except for one is a Sergent.

Kudos to your wife for bringing home the first plane. Most wives pass by that stuff and don't tell you about it until next week.

My wife just cannot pass up a great deal.
And she knows that gained her a feather in her hat.

That's a fantastic score, rehabing should keep you out of trouble for a few days.

Now that's some wife you have there. Mine only brings home purses and no they're not for me. At least not usually. :) Good haul!

Nice haul.
If my wife would have seen hand planes in a garage sale, She wouldn't even mention it to me. She thinks I have too many now for some reason.

Gary,

Pinch yourself and thank the lord for sending you a princess to grace your home and shop.

Is the one in the middle/left with the 2 round knobs for flattening out dadoe's? Seen a plan in a mag. for building one outa wood using an allen wrench for the blade.

I seen that plan too Jim, Only now I won't need to take the time to build one.
There have been many times I would have used the router plane in the past if I had one.
