Does anyone have any experience with airless sprayers? I have a hvlp with a turbine. I was wondering if an airless sprayer would work better. Rockler offers this one: http://www.rockler.com/truecoat-pro-ii-electric-handheld-airless-paint-sprayer

Thanks

Great for paint, but not, IMHO, the best choice for the typical thinner, clear finishes we use for woodworking projects, such as waterborne finishes, shellac, lacquer, dyes/stains, etc.

Airless is my first choice if there's much to do-like more than a couple of quarts. The latest Graco gun, with Fine Finish tips work great for about any finish, but you need experience, and need to be quick and coordinated if you do things like spray cabinets with backs on them, or even in place, with something like laquer. I have an old good quality Graco pump, and just upgraded to the new gun a year or so ago, and it changes the whole game to a much better level.
