This is an amazing feat regardless of WHO did the work. I am stunned at the detail and planning necessary for this project.

Don't tell the Taliban about it. They get kicks from destroying anything they don't like, like those giant Buddhist statues in Afghanistan.

That is quite amazing. Thanks for sharing. Why is it that whenever something seems too impossible for us to imagine being built, we divert to the "must have been aliens" theory? It really belittles our abilities, and moreso those of the people who built it. The Incas were also amazing stone workers and the Aztecs as well. I believe they had figured out how to do things that we think only are possible with power tools and machinery. Perhaps they had explosives before the Chinese. Maybe they used hydraulics.

I have not seen that one. What detail! How long would it actually take to do all that? How many people?

Out of all the things we see around the world that we ask, how in the world did ancient people do that?......The one that really defies logic is the mountain tops having been completely removed in Nazca:

Flattening mountain tops/ranges? OK. Possible.

Removing all the debris? Highly improbable.

Certainly, not everything that we don't see how it was done, was done by 'aliens'.....but given that now we know that there are as many suitable planets just like ours, as there are grains of sand on all the beaches of the earth. Come on.......

Impressive, but not terribly mysterious.

I like the line "Records show that a 1000 people worked for 3 years, and they could only do a very minimal damage. They could break and disfigure a few statues". If 1000 people only disfigured a few statues in 3 years, then they must have had a very good union.
Those who see ancient aliens everywhere frequently just make stuff up.

There are also several good "360" pictures on Google Earth.

Maybe they shouldn't have used rubber hammers? :)
