Road Trip to Brazil

Ok, so actually I'm flying, but I will be going to Manaus, Brazil here in a couple weeks and was wondering if anybody had been down there/there was something woodworking related worth seeing?

Wish I could help as I have been to Brazil a number of times. I went to a steel mill but not near where you are going. I do not remember woodworking or wood items for sale. I do regret not buying an amethyst geode that I saw. You can buy some nice gems for my wife.
