I send jpgs, tiffs, pdfs, pngs -- I get a invalid file message. These files don't have i.e. .jpg after them. Any suggestions?

I don't understand what your saying. Were are you sending to. Put a graphic on your desk top and then tell it to open with corel. OR open corel and use import ,,,,, find that file on your desktop and cic import

Bob, your question is a little vague. Can you clarify?

I take jpgs from iPhoto on my Mac, put them on a thumb drive, plug it into my Windows laptop and try to import them through either Corel Draw 6 or Corel Paint. Neither app can recognize them.

Just rename them with the .jpg (or the right file extension for that file) on the end and they should work.

Yes, the export filter on your Mac .must be omitting the extension.

Sounds like an Apple problem to me.
