Source for attic ladder hinge

Anyone know of a source to purchase a few attic ladder hinges. The manufacturers don't seem to sell these replacements, and after hours of searching the web, I can't find any source (other than a trading company that will be happy to sell me 100 or so). I can't believe they aren't available from someone.
Appreciate any leads you might be able to offer.
