A returned Black Walnut bowl that has dried and cured for some 9 or 10 years, pretty wood but simple lines and not a deep bowl, I like it :).
As I had to remove my photo tent for some rearranging in the shop, I had to find another way/spot to make the pictures, done outside on a glass topped table, sorry for the background in the picture.
Any and all comments are welcome :)

As a huge fan of walnut, I got to say WOW! Leo, where do you get the patience to let these sit for 9 years? I'm starting to think you have a warehouse of "rough outs" stack up to the ceiling in a remote location, buried in a underground cavern. :D Joking aside, just a wonderful looking bowl with awesome coloring!

Very nice Leo. Walnut has always been one of my favourite woods and the grain on that is great. Oh and nice job on the turning, I like the shallow look.

Thank you Steve :), yes this is a nice piece of Walnut, and yes I do have a large inventory of rough turned pieces, as for remote, Atikokan is kind of remote ;) :D

Thanks for commenting Rick :), Walnut sure can be nice wood, though not always the easiest wood to turn, but usually worth the effort 316314
