Going about 2 and a half hours south to pick up a 14" Rikon bandsaw today.

I'm sure you'll post some pics when you get it home and set up. Rikon makes a nice band saw.

Picked it up and got it home. Will need help getting it out of the trailer and into the shop as it is heavy. It is a used Rikon 10-325, several years old, but in very good condition. I will take pictures after I get it inside.

That's the same one that I have. A GREAT band saw. You will enjoy it.

Yep, got the same saw as well. I use it for re-sawing, cutting bowl blanks etc. I did replace the factory bearings but other than that it has been trouble free.

Not sure if you got it unloaded and in the shop, but with other 14" band saws breaking it down into 3 or 4 pieces (table, top half, bottom half, and base or stand) makes them fairly manageable for one person. I have not moved a 14" Rikon though.

I think you are also less likely to damage something moving it with the table off. I know that I once broke a trunion on a 14" Delta moving it with the table on. Granted the delta trunions on that model were garbage and the Rikon probably has better trunions.
