I just ordered a PM planer :D and should be getting it any day now. I have a Dewalt 735 and wondered what the difference in the planed surface will be if any. If there is a big difference, would you keep the DW and run wood thru that to put a near finish on it?

i just got mine delivered about 3 weeks ago, the finish is superb. i had a delta 22-580 and sold it right away. no sense in keeping a smaller planer. if you ever need a finer finish lets say on figured wood, get a drum sander.
you will love the planer, it's a great machine.
only problem, it took amazon about 2 1/2 months to ship it. but now that it's here, i would never go back to a lunchbox. i could slap myself for not getting the PM sooner
