Delta 22-555 13" Planer

There is a sale at HD for a Delta 22-555 13" Planer (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Delta-15-Amp-13-in-Portable-Thickness-Planer-22-555/205404458) $299.
I can't seem to find any reviews on this particular model.
It is a bench top 15amp 2 blade with 5 year warranty.

The one review on the Home Depot site is a novel, but the guy seems to like it a lot.

And there are 18 reviews on Amazon. I think you might be looking for the wrong model number, it is 22–555, not 55.

Is it a Delta 22-305 in new clothes? I don't see a cutterhead lock and no mention of one so I'd wonder about snipe. A friend had a 22-305 and that sniped big-time. There are things to do that can reduce snipe but I don't know about eliminating it.
