I like to use Waxilit to prevent glue from adhering where it is not wanted during glueups. But, my can of Waxilit has all dried out. What can I do to make it useful again?
Thanks

I have a can & haven't used it yet. Does it interfere with stain if the piece has to be stained?

Waxilit is compatible with oil and varnish finishes like Watco.
The solvents must be similar, of lighter molecular weight.

I doubt most stains will have the same solvent.

A test strip is in order, before you get yourself "cornered".

It forms a long lasting lubricant barrier.
It's like mayonnaise for lumber.

I'd try naphtha or mineral spirits. You probably only need a few drops to make it workable.

I have used Mineral Spirits to revive a dried up can and so far haven't had any issues, after the glue up their is at least some sanding, scraping or hand planing anyway plus the wax on the clamping cauls is "cured".
