These are from our recent trip to Vermont. The museum is actually about 20 buildings spread out on some acreage --- about 10 minutes south of Burlington. A nice little collection.................

I don't know, Roy. Looks a lot like Dave Anderson's basement.

Amazing. But at the same time kind of a shame not seeing all those great old tools put to work.

Bet you could spend days in there. Looks like a fortune in old tools to me.
How's KC city life these days Roy?

Steve--waiting on breakfast meet next year.

KC life is good..........so far....so good....take one day at a time!!!:)

Brent - there was no one to ask about those planes needing a home....:) That would take up my basement pretty well!!

Do they have any workbenches there Roy, that looks like a fantastic place to spend a day or so.

James,

No work benches...... this collection was in a "barn loft". They've probably got a web site to see the entire area.... about 20 buildings ...with mostly 1800's stuff in them. Artwork, glass, printing presses, horse carriages, sleighs, etc.....

I live just 1/2 mile from the museum (as the crow flies) and will need to get in there again to see the woodworking tools. I haven't been in awhile. It truly is a great museum and if you are up this way, it is a must see. Also in Shelburne is the Vermont Teddy Bear Company and close by is Ben & Jerry's plant in Waterbury.

Gosh, I've lived in North Springfield, VT for 20 years and still haven't travelled the 2-1/2 Hrs there to see that!

Now that I've seen pictures - I just have to get up there!
