Since Bob B. posted his score of some beautiful maple, thought I'd do the same of some pieces I got this week. Have 3 or 4 more stacks of this size just waiting for a place to store it. The round blank is 15" x 6". I could squeeze a little better than 16" out of these blanks but I wanted to keep the tenon size around 6" for coring. My biggest jaws are 6 1/8 in compression and wanted to keep it close to 40%.

Messed up the sight-line on my first bowl in the center but salvaged the 2nd one. Big bowl ended up being 14"+ x 5" and the smaller one 10"+ x 3.5". Here's pics of the inside & outside of the big bowl and bottom of the smaller.
