I made this for someone who is going to put it in a charity auction Father's Day Weekend. Some type of horse event. I don't have, or ride horses, but live in a horse town.

It is made with walnut and cherry sapwood. The finish is 4 coats of blonde shellac and wax.

They are are going to put some brushes and other horse grooming stuff in the tote for the auction.

Very nice, Jabediah. I like the contrast and the look of cherry sapwood.

Very nice. What kind of jig did you use for the dovetails? Also, how is the handled fastened there at the top? I didn't see any dowels.

Thanks. I used a Leigh RTJ400 jig, that's the newer one you use on a router table. The handle is just glued into the slot on the "arms" and the "arms" are glued into a wide dado on the base.

I did a thread last week on the leigh jig. I just got it and this is probably the 4-5th set I did including setup. I found it very easy to use.

Sweet piece.

It's clean, and well balanced.

Thanks Jim, handle is just fitted and glued in the slot with TB3.
