I appreciate the Memorial Day tribute that Kent shared earlier today. My wife has been watching this You Tube tribute today. Her father went to the front line in France 2 weeks after D-day. He was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge & recovered enough to return to his unit during the battle for the Bridge at Remagen. After the war, he went to college on the GI Bill and decided to make a military career, serving in Korea & Vietnam, before retiring as a Colonel in the late 1960's. He has passed but Memorial Day is always a special day of reflection for us, as we think of those who gave all for our great nation.
