Anyone here familiar with DigiCarver laser engravers?
From the looks of them they could be a Rabbit in a renamed box. From what I understand so far there are only a few actual manufacturers but many repackagers.
Any input on this?

Possibly HX Laser machines but they look more like Weike built.

True there are a few manufacturers, (more than there were) but still use a lot of similar components (choice of two basic driver cards, the same steppers, same step drivers, same hi-win rails etc)

Thank's Dave.
There is a distributor about 2 1/2 hours from me, Has a pretty good rep from what I have gathered so far.
Prices are good and there is a good bit of extras included.

Who is Rabbit built by? I figure if they are built by the same manufacturer that would be a plus since I hear Rabbit has a good reputation as far as Chinese lasers go.

HX Laser / Jinan King Rabbit (same company)

I have a few of their machines, never had any problems with them but above all make sure you buy from somebody that understands what they are selling. The biggest problem with Chinese machines doesn't seem to be the machine...it's more often the person selling it :)

Ask a few technical questions and see if they have an answer ready, if they don't....walk away
