OK like I said I'm making these little boxes and need hardware. I usually go to HD and get the cheap little hinges and stuff but I'd like to find a source for something better. Anyone know a good place to get jewelry box hinges and clasps?

The good stuff is a brand called Brusso and can be found at Woodcraft Supply and Rockler. They are a bit dear.

Well I'm looking for a little better then the cheap dollar store stuff but not high grade box hardware, theres gotta be some half way decent stuff like 5 or 6 bucks for hinges couple 3 bucks for clasp Not 32 dollars for a pair of hinges gessh are they gold or something:eek:

I found a place in Canada http://www.smallboxhardware.com/ that has a pretty good selection but unless you buy a lot the shipping costs a lot. Not worth it for 2 or 3 items.

I haven't bought any hinges for a while but Stanley used to make a decent hinge at affordable prices.
