Laguna Driftmaster Fence - 2 versions?

I'm considering a used Drift Master fence, but I've read some threads that imply that Laguna changed the design slightly at some point, mostly having to do with the mounting system. (and clearance over the lower door.)


Is this true? If so, how can one determine which version is being offered, on the used market?

I would just email or call Laguna. I just bought a used one and they answered all my technical questions off the top of their head. I was very impressed what they (Brian) knew about changes in years and the little manufacturing nuances from the different years and models.

I have a chance to pick one up for a decent price right now. By tomorrow it will be gone.

Actually, no worries.

The seller confirmed that it's less than 2 years old, and the latest mounting system.

It will be on my new 21" Grizzly next week. :)
