What 4,000 Pounds of Lathes Looks Like

Spent the morning with a dozen other chapter members putting together the shipment of Jet lathes for the student training at the upcoming National Symposium next month. (26) 1015VS and (1) 1221VS for the raffle. Need to go take a nap, this was too much like work.

I went to the symposium when it was in St Paul a few years ago. My daughter reluctantly signed up for the youth classes and ended up winning one of the lathe packages. She sure was happy at the end!

I took a grandson to Tampa and spent some time with the youth while I was there, but carefully NOT with the grandson. He too left with one of the packages. He had a fun time and still turns some.
