I promise quite a few folks that I would try to keep you up to speed on my medical conditions (see thread http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=22281 for background.

After the results of the barrage of tests I have had, the decision was made yesterday to begin chemo therapy tomorrow morning.

Worse case scenerio is 3 to 4 months :( . Best case scenerio is a 30% chance of survival for 3 or more years :) . It will all depend on how my body reacts to the chemo treatments and the drugs used in that process.

Ken, I have never met you and except for this wood forum I would not know who you are. But what I do know is you are a good person and this world needs more like you. If I lived in Alabama I would be proud to call you a neighbor. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers and hope things turn out in your favor.

Take Care

Ken, you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers, and I'm sure you are already seeing that trend among your e-friends here at the Creek. Never give up hope, continue that great attitude of yours, and just tell the cancer to stick it. Know that we are all here pulling for the best possible outcome. Jim.

Ken - Keep the spirits up. Also go the THE BEST DOCTORS you can get to. Having had a couple of family members go through cancer treatment, I found that each Doctor will have his/her personal opinion that is not always based on medical facts or the most up to date information.

Good luck with the chemo. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. :)
