Bandsaw Advice

I am looking to purchase a bandsaw. I do woodworking as a hobby and in need of a good bandsaw, primerily for resaw. I have looked at the Grizzly (have Grizzly tablesaw, jointer, and dust collector) and Laguna. My budget is $1500, I do know I want a brake on it. Can someone give me some advice? Thanks

I bought a Grizzly G0513X2 this winter and am very happy so far. I do wish that I had spent a little more to get a brake; for example the G0513X2F. It seems that a lot of Creekers have a saw in the G0513X2 family and are generally satisfied.

Whatever you buy, get some good blades.

I guess a lot depends on how much resawing you want to do, and to what thickness of material. What's OK as a one off job can become impossible in quantity...
