I don't think it was intentional, I had to reread your post to make sure myself.

Though I did not watch or follow his career, I am always saddened when I hear of a families loss.

Jenning was an excellent reporter with a sense of fairness, and when a bias was evident (or required) it wasn't hidden. He was respected and watched in my home. I hope Jenning's replacement is skilled as a journalist, and hopefully not simply a pleasant face with a good voice and the ability to read a prompter. :(

Unfortunately, his wisdom, wit and ability to perceive the world around him did him no good when it came to tobacco. :mad:
