Do a google search for Narrow Fork Pallet Jack, you should get a lot of results.

Check with a local forklift dealer. They can easily find you one.

This for a Euro machine, by chance? If so, I have yet to find any Euro machine that could not be moved with a regular pallet jack and some finagling from an angle. Sure, they may be optimized for the skinny pallet jacks but I've pretty much everything you can imagine on a regular one.

No hand break....

I googled my brains out before asking. I even called a few of the bigger manufactures.

I have since scoured the the internet and rung up just about every manufactuer and dealer of pallet jacks. It seems to me this combo of narrow fork and hand break just is not a done thing in the United Staes.

I do find one brand "BT" that makes a narrow fork hand truck with the hand break. Unfortunetly i only find them in AustrIlia and Britain.

I dont think i will be sourcing this hand truck. I think i can make do without the hand break i just would rather not find out the hard way i can not.

I have a 1500lb machine that needs to go about 70ft and has a slight down grade. I moved a SawStop couple weeks ago through the area i need to also move this machine and i did it pretty much by myself. I had to shuffle plywood as the area at hand is a garden and a combo of mulch and giant stepping stones. Anyway i moved the saw on a regular moving dolly and my helper just had to keep one hand on it while i shuffled the plywood. Point is its not much of a decline but it is a decline.

Im kinda assuming moving 500lbs is a bit different than moving 1500lbs ;) ?

Patrick, most of us don't use a hand break, we just set the pallet down to slow or stop movement. Oh, and that one I linked to has a 5500 pound capacity, not 500.

There is no pallet jack I am aware of (and I have used them since the early 90's) that has any type of a brake on it. At least not you basic pallet jack. As Steve said, you just set the load down if you need it to stop.

If all this is too scary, what about just hiring some piano movers or rigger to move it where it needs to go?

These people offer a hand brake as an option to any of their pallet trucks.
