Does anyone have a source for a "1.25 x8 bolt maybe 2" long to hold a Supernova Chuck in a jig? I have looked locally where I live and on line but it appears that the 8 threads per inch is not a normal thread pitch. The only ones I found were 7 threads per inch.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Paul

Not bolts but these might work:

Lee Valley (http://www.leevalley.com/US/images/item/woodworking/turning/05g2010s05.jpg) I use two of them with a holder from Panavise (http://www.panavise.com/index.html?pageID=1&page=full&--eqskudatarq=12)

1-1/4 - 8 tpi is fairly common as flange bolts for oil-field and petro-chem facilities. Many industrial supply dealers will have them.

Here's a link to 1 1/4"x8 tpi all thread at McMaster Carr http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-astm-threaded-rods/=wr87tx . Select medium strength all thread.

I will check some other sources and edit this thread if I can find something else.

Here's another option: http://www.instockfasteners.com/SearchResults.asp

Note....try doing a search using 1 1/4" 8UN bolts.......
