A new purchase came today

I wanted a jab saw for cutting various holes and shapes.

It was grabby when it came out of the package, but drawing a file down the side of the teeth fixed it. It cuts smoothly after dressing the teeth.
For one thing,I will use it when making a saw tote. I've been using a coping saw. We'll see how it goes.

First trial run is encouraging.

you will find that you will put saw where you can reach it easily. Those type saws compass, keyhole type are very handy . They were part of every carpenters kit years ago. So many uses even like a small rasp inside a bored hole to get that bolt started. I have the compass saw type with three blades in the top of my big box, don't use it often but I know exactly where it is when I need it.
