Haven't posted anything here in quite a while. Thought I would share a little something I made for my cousin's son and newborn girl. I used Rowmark's new hardwood collection (cherry).

hi all
the picture is the 2.4mm acrylate what I get left overs from ACE hardware store for free. the LED light stand are three pieces of different wood ( red cedar and bass wood) they are cut to the size what is needed and after installing the LED strip glued together.
if some body is interested send me a PM for the picture I am using lasercad v. 7.43 its for the AWC 608 DSP controller.

Walter, do you get the led strips from a particular supplier or just get them off ebay?

It really sets them off. Great job.

hi gozzie
I buy mostly rolls of the LED strips from the cheapest seller on ebay, because they all from the same manufacturer.
right now I use the new remote control for the strips and they work wonderfull because I can adjust so many things light brightness , speed end even flashing.
price wise its the same as a conventional switch.

I do a bunch of these for customers. I like to use 9 volt battery boxes with a built in switch, so I don't have to worry about house fires (it's also much cheaper). Posted some pics below (The pics really don't do it justice) and the bases come out truly beautiful using layers of 1/8" birch.
