I just about have a walnut vanity built and need to start the finishing.
I've sanded to 220. Now I need to do the glue ups.
First question, how do I best get rid of squeeze out? Does anyone have a preference for this? I've heard to let it "kind of" dry and then peel it off. Anyone have a better time frame for this?
Second. I like using oils. That's all I have experence with. Watco Danish, BLO, etc. I usually put a couple of coats on then shellac, then wax. On this I was thinking of just Danish (2 coats) and then using a poly from a rattle can. I don't have a dust free environment really. Any suggestions?
