Anyone know what size and pitch Doug uses for the set screws in his handles? I'd prefer to have a quick change knob ala D-Way but don't see that Thompson offers these so I am wondering if Dave's quick change knob would mate.

My 16" DT handle uses a 5/16-24, Dave uses 5/16-18 which is what I've used on all of the handles I make.

Ugh. I was hoping they would be interchangeable.

Glen,
Take a 5/16" x 24 bolt and countersink it through a small block of wood, epoxy it in and turn it round. Texture the knob and you are good to go.

Yeah, already decided to go that route. Was hoping to save myself the trouble.

The D-Way knobs seem kind of large. Do they ever get in the way?

Guess I've never really given it any thought...........which means, I suppose, 'no'. :)
