Our 'new' house built in 1900 in Terrell, Texas. We moved a few boxes in and the goal is to get completely moved in by this time next week. http://thewoodworkers.us/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif

You can see the pics of the place in the real estate report below...click the main pic for eight more including the workshop. I am excited to finally get a stand alone shop. It's a 16x20 two story!! http://thewoodworkers.us/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif http://thewoodworkers.us/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif http://thewoodworkers.us/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif http://thewoodworkers.us/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif http://thewoodworkers.us/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

We have a ton to do now so I won't be around much after Thursday when we start moving the big stuff. http://thewoodworkers.us/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif

I can see you having lots of fun with the new place. I'd love to have a shop that roomy. Man, living in Southern California, I get reverse sticker shock when I see what houses cost out in the real world.

Congrats, Kelly -

Congrats? What's the paved area in back of the shop building?

Congrats on the New home and shop. It will be a very busy time but it is fun when you can start make a house you buy into your home. And how I would love a stand alone shop, would give me a stomp the saw dust off space before entering the house.

Good Luck Dave

Congrats and lots of luck with your new digs, Kelly. Nice house and great shop space. Wow! Can't believe the price. That would probably go for about $350,000 on Cape Cod.

Way to go! I know you were pretty excited about this place when we had dinner a couple months ago. Glad to see it worked out for you guys.

I am still not unpacked from my move and know first hand how much of a pain it is, but it is all worth it, once you unpack into the shop space.

Have fun and drink lots of water (helps the Advil go down...)

Very cool Kellly! Going to be great. Man how cool is it to have a little gambrel barn for a shop. Congrats!

Is the barn-looking structure your shop, Kelly? Looks like there is a parking lot behind it??

Cute little place! What are you plans for it? Any major remodeling?

Nice house. Terrell is a nice place to live. My sister just moved from Kaufman to Garland (husband passed away and couldn't keep up an acreage by herself)but we like to go out to Terrell on the way to Canton and look at all the restored homes and go to the outlet mall (LOL does anyway:o ). Do you have any of the crepe myrtle trees on your property. They are just amazing. There are some as big as any oak tree there and really pretty.

Looks like a great house. My daughter and grandkids live in Terrell so I am there quite a bit. There are some great historic homes in the area. Congratulations, I know the saw will be hot for a while.

Congrats Kelly! Your own piece of heaven! I love the home's full porch in front - they don't make em like that anymore.

Congrats Kelly!! Having moved just over a year ago, I know what you are about to embark on, and it's not fun in the summer heat. Hope you get your shop up and going quicker that I have been able to get mine to that point. I think Terrill is just far enough from the rat race of Dallas to be VERY comfortable!! Good luck and let us know how the move goes. Jim
