I am building a beaded face frame jig and need a self stick tape measure. Anyone know if there is one that is like a centering rule where zero is in the middle and measures out in both directions?

I could use two tapes, one Lto R and one R to L, but that adds some cost and the zero center type could be less expensive and would work better in this application.

Thanks.

Thanks Brad, that is the best price I have found for the Kreg tapes.

You are welcome - they have good prices on cabinet hardware too.

MSC and McMaster Carr , maybe even Grainger will have these as well. Good all around industrial catalogs well worth having. Thousands and thousands of items you didn't know you need , until you see them!

Just on a side note, does Grainger only sell to business's (like it was in the past) or do the sell to the public also now? It's a great company that has everything.

I think they have finally wised up to how much business they were losing. I needed a new start cap for my air compressor last summer and walked into my local Grainger and they just looked it up, got me a new one and took my money. No discussion of where I worked or anything.

Starrett also makes them. These have the advantage that they are steel backed as opposed to the plastic which will sometimes shrink.

Just discovered by re-reading the Hartville item it is not what I want. I guess I will need to use two one l-r reading and one r-l reading.
