3D wood printing is what someone needs to be working on. Here is what they can do with pancake batter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1853707494/pancakebot-the-worlds-first-pancake-printer). Why not wood?

That's close Rich. Not quite like other 3D printing technology but certainly, as they call it, additive. I can see a 3D wood printer in the near future, probably making trivets or knick knacks, artistic things, maybe stuff that get post processed with a laser for example. Structural stuff like furniture??? Maybe someday, although lots of us might no longer call it wood.

I think it wouldn't really be wood any more, really just sawdust and glue, kind of like MDF.

According to the video, a skyscraper is the future. Not sure I'd want to be one of the first tenants though.
