Psi tool rest question

I,m wondering if the PSI tool rest set, cat no cltset1 would work on a PM 3520. They come with a 1" post but its not clear if its long enough. The price is very attractive tho, although I only want the curved pieces.
Anybody try these?

I haven't tried them, but the 5-3/4" rod should put the end of the rod a little below the lock screw. The Q/A on PSI site last answer is that the 5-3/4" is bar length and not height from top to bottom. It is a good price and should have some uses, but I do not like the round bar style. Might be something to modify for special uses, and about the cost of material. I have a home made 18"long round bar, 12"/6" split on post, that I added 1/8" x 1" bar under to keep my fingers from hanging under the rest and getting into trouble.
